Niagara Falls...at night! The prettiness was overwhelming. Hot damn, the prettiness. We were stuck on the American side when we visited Niagara Falls (we were with a tour group), so we didn't get to experience Niagara-Falls-at-night in its entirety. Disappointing. But it was still pretty. The colors are from these crazy lights shown from the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. Yay for the Canadians!

I used the night mode on my digital camera for this picture. It was extremely difficult trying to get this shot. I had to elbow my way through the crowd, then position the camera on one of those two-quarters-for-five-minutes-of-binocul ars machine things, and hold it reeeeally still so it would capture and process the image without blurring. Okay, so it wasn't that hard...

Photo from trip! No contrast/brightness tweaks this time! But a one-pixel border in Photoshop! :paranoid:

Very pretty :D The water looks like colored patches, and reminds me of easter egg colors~! As close as I am to the falls, I really should visit them more...

i went to canada and saw niagara falls from there
we went in the boat that goes though it

Heyyyy!! I live there! Like, the american side. You were on the observation tower I presume? It's pretty nifty at night, and the canadian side is better. Much better. But hey, we work with what we got!
Your shot is wonderful!! One of the best I've seen in a while of the falls.

Wow! That's cool that you live right there. I was totally disappointed that I couldn't see the Niagara Falls from Canada at night. I saw it the following morning but, of course, it's not the same without the lights! I'm really glad you like my photo, and thank you so much for the fav!!! :w00t:
